How do I get my tickets?

You will receive an email voucher that you will need to print and take with you to the event. This is done after your reservation is confirmed with the activity provider and your seats are secured. if you can not access e-mail or a printer, we will be more than happy to fax the vouchers to you or to the hotel where you are staying. Be sure to bring your voucher and ID with you to the event. You will need these for ticket/voucher security purposes.

You will receive an Order Confirmation once your order is processed.  It will be immediately sent to you by email.  You will receive a 2nd email with a voucher number or a confirmation number and any additional information such as pickup time or check in time and location and the activity’s direct phone number.  The thingstodocostarica.com phone number will also be included in the email.  The date and number of participants will be confirmed in this email. Please give us up to 72 hrs to confirm your tour. Sometimes tours can fill up fast, but there may be last minute openings so please be sure to recheck your email for any scheduling fluctuations.

Once we issue your tickets and send them to you via email, you will need to print the tickets on your home printer and bring them with you to Costa Rica. Present the printed tickets at check-in and you're all set! If you're already in Costa Rica or you don't have access to a printer, we have many other convenient options that will help you out and are mentioned below.

What if I plan to attend the activity today or tomorrow?

Normally we process orders within 48 hours, sometimes sooner. However, if your activity is within that time frame we will do all that we can to process your order faster and get the voucher to you where ever you may be staying.

What if I place an order through ThingsToDoCostaRica.com but the activity was already booked full?

We will either reschedule your tour to a different date / time or we will issue you a full refund.

How soon should I book?

Most Costa Rica Tours and Activities have limited space, so it is best to book as far in advance as possible to ensure seat availability.  We get calls each and every day from people asking to book activities at the last minute that have no availability left.  We recommend that you book your Costa Rica Tours at least two months in advance for the more popular activities or any activity that you absolutely do not want to miss. Our policy encourages you to book your tours as soon as possible to secure your reservations. With that said, if you must make any changes, as long as you give us at least 48 hours before the start of a tour, we will make every effort to reschedule a more convenient time for you.

What if I lose my voucher?

If you should happen to lose your printed ticket or voucher, we can send you a new one (via email or fax) or, if you have no way of receiving an email or fax, we can fax your ticket directly to the activity provider and the ticket will be waiting for you. Please be sure to bring a photo ID with you to the event to verify that you are the ticket holder.

 Do I have to pay sales tax?

There is a 7.1% sales on all activities across the board.

What is your cancellation policy?

ThingsToDoCostaRica.com has a 10% service charge on ALL cancellations that are made at least 72 hours before the scheduled activity. You may cancel by phone or by email. We are sorry, but we can not refund cancellations or changes that are made less than 72 hours before the scheduled tour or activity.  We also can not refund ticket cost for activity or tour no-shows. If the activity or tour is canceled by the vendor, the of course, you will receive a full refund. You must claim your canceled tour refund within 30 days of the canceled tour date.  The refund request must be done though ThingsToDoCostaRica.com email. No exceptions.

If you have a group of 6 or more and cancel within 72 hours of the activity departure time, you will forfeit 100% of the activities cost.  Groups of more than 10 who cancel within 14 days forfeit 50% of the activities costs.  These charges are the policy of the respective owners of activities and tours.

Group reservations of 8 or more have a 1 week cancellation window policy unless otherwise stated.

If a credit card charge is disputed and unjustified there will be a $35.00 additional service  charge to the original purchase amount regardless of the disputed amount.
