Wilson Botanical Garden Tour
Your Corocovado Tour will begin with a boat ride across the biggest mangrove forest in Costa Rica. The mangrove forest is also the largest in Central America! The boat ride will take about 1 hour, giving you plenty of time to soak in all of the fauna and wildlife on the way - so be sure to bring your camera!
Your boat will take you to Sierpe, a small Costa Rican town. You will then take a mini-bus on a short ride through the Coto Brus Valley and then through the highlands of San Vito. The Wilson Botanical Garden is located inside the highlands.
The Wilson Botanical Garden is home to thousands of species of plants and endangered species. The Wilson Botanical Gardens has been rated as the number one place to visit for bird watching in Costa Rica!
The Wilson Botanical Gardens is also home to many scientists, research programs, conservation programs, horiculture programs, and other studies on sustainable development, reforestation and agro-ecology to name a few.
Your tour will cosist of learning about the native fauna and wildlife and will have many photography opportunities. You will also be served a delicious lunch.
At the end of your time in The Wilson Botanical Gardens you will then board a mini-bus that will take you back through the forest, and descent back to the low lands. You will arrive back at your hotel at about 5:45. You will be back in time to view the sunset.
