Canopy Safari is the adventure of a lifetime not to
be missed by anyone. Built in 1997 on our private rain forest reserve,
this canopy tour has many exciting elements that are sure to get your
heart pounding. Throughout the canopy course your expert bilingual
guides will reveal the secrets of the jungle that surrounds you. Sail high above the rainforest canopy and experience Manuel Antonio's most popular adventure sport: the canopy zip line. This exhilarating tour was actually invented in Costa Rica, and has since been featured on the Discovery Channel. This is an adventure for people of all ages and interests, and is certainly one of the highlights of Costa Rica.
Our butterfly garden is a beautiful place to relax after the excitement of the canopy course. From within the butterfly garden you
can see the whole life cycle of the butterflies; from the eggs on the
plants to the butterflies emerging from the pupa's and flying their first
flight. The vast collection of native Costa Rica snakes will amaze
you.
Canopy Safari provides tourists a unique activity and ecological experience, and almost anyone of any age can participate!
Young children can be carried by the guides. You do not need to be in
great physical condition and it is not strenuous. This tour offers an
adventurous tourist the opportunity to ascend into the forest canopy and
see jungle life from a perspective available previously to only a
select few researchers and photographers
Our company objective is to provide tourists a unique
activity and ecological experience while at the same time helping to aid
in the preservation of the world's endangered rain forest through direct
financial support to conservation, education, and reforestation
efforts.
This tour is available for anyone over the age of five, there
is no need to brake on any of our cables. The first cable leaves from
our restaurant "La Quebrada" and the the last one returns to it as well.
